This is an excerpt of a 60 Minutes interview with Jon Bon Jovi. My two favorite parts are when he talks about The Philadelphia Soul (I LOVE football and, actually, miss Arena Football)and when Jon, Dave and Richie discuss their bond.


Funny coincidence... at the end of that interview, Jon talks about "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda". As I'm blogging, I'm flipping channels, mostly between Friends and Sex and the City. As I'm watching SATC, Carrie and Samantha are walking down the street having the following conversation...
Carrie: But then I wouldn't have known you. Can you imagine it?
Samantha: No, I can't.
Carrie: I should have told Aidan.
Samantha: Coulda, woulda, shoulda!
Carrie (in voiceover, later, at her apartment, writing her column): So many roads, so many detours.
So many choices, so many mistakes.
As we drive along the road called life, occasionally a gal will be a little lost.
When that happens, she has to let go of the "coulda, shoulda, woulda"
and just keep going.
As we speed along to the destination called "Who We Hope To Be",
I can't help but whine: are we there yet?
I love concidences like that! In that same episode, Samantha tries to get a Hermes Birkin bag...
Hermes Sales Associate: It's $4,000.
Samantha: I know.
Hermes Sales Associate: And there's a waiting list. Five years.
Samantha: For a bag?
Hermes Sales Associate: It's not a bag. It's a Birkin.
A lot of handbag connoisseurs feel that the Birkin is the ultimate handbag. While I do think they are beautiful bags (that's a Birkin in my Dorothy Kilgallen quote at the top of my blog) and would love to carry one, I'm not obsessive about them like some women are... not that it's a bad thing :o)


My bag today was a vintage Dooney & Bourke British Tan Bucket Bag. It's not in the greatest shape but I found it at a thrift store and paid only $10 for it. I've said it before but Dooney & Bourke AWL is amazing! This bag is at least twenty years old and looks pretty good... better than some of the other leather handbags I've owned.
